Drug Uses
Mesterolone is used for treatment of Male infertility caused by low testosterone levels. It may also used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

How Taken
Use Mesterolone as directed by your doctor.

Warnings/Precautions
Before taking Mesterolone, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any medical conditions, especially if you have allergies to medicines, foods, or other substances, if you are allergic to any ingredient in Mesterolone, if you have suffer from kidney, heart or liver problems or if you have a history of liver problems, if you suffer with high blood pressure, epilepsy, migraine or diabetes mellitus. Some medicines may interact with Mesterolone. Therefore tell your doctor of all prescription or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement that you are taking. Do not use Mesterolone if you have cancer of the prostate, history of or current liver tumors or if you female. Mesterolone should not be used in women. Men should have regular prostate examinations during treatment with this medicine. If frequent or persistent erections occur consult your doctor. Rare cases of liver tumors have been reported after the use of hormonal substances such as this medicine. In very rare cases, liver tumors may lead to life–threatening bleeding in the abdomen. Tell your doctor if you have any new stomach discomfort or pain that does not soon clear up. Mesterolone should not be used in children.

Missed Dose
If you miss a dose take it as soon as you remember. However if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the Missed Dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

Possible Side Effects
Some of the Possible Side Effects are- Headache, depression, feeling sick, changes in sexual desire, enlarged breasts (in men), anxiety, feeling of weakness, swollen ankles, increased hair growth, baldness, excessively oily skin, acne, early puberty, excessive frequency and duration of erections. Contact your doctor if any of these or other side effects occur. If you experience any of the following serious side effects, you should seek medical attention immediately- allergic reaction, black, tarry stools, jaundice (yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes), and difficulty urinating or blood in the urine.

Storage
Store Mesterolone at 77 °F (25 °C), excursions permitted to 59 to 86 °F (15 to 30 °C). Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep Mesterolone out of the reach of children.

Overdose
If overdose is suspected seek medical attention immediately.

More Information
Mesterolone is indicated for use in men only.Mesterolone should be used only by the patient for whom it has been prescribed. Do not take less or more or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.
